| | Creating Lines - Major Triads by Russ Rodgers is a downloadable Quicktime video lesson that will begin teaching you the skills needed to construct a bass line over chord changes. We'll start by teaching you all about a Major Triad which is the 1st, 3rd, and 5th note of a major scale. Creating lines using notes from a major triad will help you outline the sound of the major chord you are playing along with. Russ will teach you several places where you play these notes and then demonstrate them with a backing track. The download includes a .pdf of the tabs and an .mp3 jam track.
