| | Geoff's Favorite Licks 3 by Geoff Hohwald is a downloadable Quicktime video lesson that will help you add variety to your playing. The lesson will teach you a 1st position lick in C, and then Geoff will cover five variations of that lick. Learning how to alter licks will help develop your ability to improvise. We will practice using the lick and variations in the context of the bluegrass standard John Hardy. The download features .mp3 jam tracks of John Hardy at several speeds, .mp3 demos of the licks, and a .pdf of the tablature for the entire lesson.
